Special Assembly: International Labour Day and International Dance Day
“No work is insignificant. All labour that uplifts humanity has dignity and
importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.”
– Martin Luther King, Jr.
International Workers' Day, also known as Labour Day is celebrated on 1st May
every year all over the world to acknowledge and reinforce the credentials attributed to all the workers and to express gratitude for their tireless efforts which greatly contribute to the upliftment and growth of any Nation.
A Special assembly was organised by the students of Grade VI to XII at Delhi Public School, Rudrapur on 30th April 2022 celebrating International Labour Day along with International Dance Day.
Delhi Public School always strives to instill great values and constantly iterates
to uphold these values of humanity and dignity of labour in students. These values were very evidently demonstrated by the students as they celebrated this day. Further, the students present various dance forms to celebrate the International Dance Day and the performances were outstanding. The students were motivated and encouraged to participate in co-curricular activities for their overall development.
We are grateful to our Chairman, Shri Surjit Singh Grover ji for providing such wonderful opportunities to students and staff for their growth.
