DPS Rudrapur initiated a profound cleanliness drive on the occasion of Gandhi & Shastri Jayanti.
The drive commenced at Maharaja Ranjeet Singh Chowk and encompassed several key areas, including Agarwal Dharamshala, Kashipur Road, Agrasen Chowk, and culminated at Gandhi Park.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of almost 150 students including NCC Cadets and teachers. Their collective effort demonstrated a strong commitment to the principles of cleanliness and sustainability.
The rally was flagged off by the Municipal Commissioner of Rudrapur Mr. Naresh Durgapal and Mayor of Rudrapur City, Mr. Rampal Singh.
The collective efforts of the participants resulted in cleaner and more hygienic public spaces in Rudrapur. The drive aimed not only to remove existing litter but to instill a sense of responsibility in the community towards maintaining cleanliness in the future.
The cleanliness drive on Gandhi Jayanti exemplified the spirit of community participation and environmental stewardship. It was a resounding success, fostering a sense of responsibility and commitment to keep Rudrapur clean and green.
